All Board and Train Programs include:

  • Homework packet with 90 day post training outline

  • 2-3 hour go home session to transfer the training over to the owners and get in home practice with training commands

  • Equipment including E-Collar Technologies e-collar, training collar for walks, and long line or leash for in home work

  • 1 hour follow up session or phone call within 1 year of completion of the program

 

2 Week Board and Train $2600

*This program is only available to dogs 6-10 months old at trainer’s discretion

This program is great way to get a jump start on foundational obedience for puppies and adolescent dogs. In this program your young dog will learn basic on and off leash obedience (appropriate for their age and capability) that you can continue to build on as they fully mature. This program focuses on basic obedience in the household with normal daily activities. Dogs younger than 6 months of age may be considered on a case by case basis by Trainer for an on leash program only.

Your dog will learn:

  • an implied stay with obedience commands like: Sit, Down, Place

  • general leash manners, recall, and a structured heel

  • basic household manners like no: jumping, mouthing, getting on furniture without permission, counter surfing, etc.

  • mindset work like: impulse control, threshold control, regulating their excitement, how to be calm and still

 

3 Week Board and Train $3000

*This program is available to dogs 6 months and up based on trainer’s discretion

This program is great way to get a foundation of obedience and communication on board for dogs of all ages. In this program your dog will learn basic on and off leash obedience and how to be a better member of your household. This program will help you and your dog with basic obedience in the home as well as jump start some public exposure training as appropriate for each dog’s age and capability. This program is designed to help create the life of freedom you want with your dog as you practice these skills over time. If your dog requires mild to moderate behavior modification their public exposure training will vary accordingly.

Your dog will learn:

  • an implied stay with obedience commands like: Sit, Down, Place

  • general leash manners, recall, and a structured heel

  • basic household manners like no: jumping, mouthing, getting on furniture without permission, counter surfing, etc.

  • mindset work like: impulse control, threshold control, regulating their excitement, how to be calm and still

  • starting public exposure training (i.e. practicing their obedience skills in dog friendly spaces in public like the park, outdoor patio, dog friendly stores, etc.)

    *Mild to moderate behavior modification cases may be eligible for this program such as mild/moderate cases of: leash reactivity, resource guarding, excessive humping, overstimulation issues, anxiety/fearfulness, nuisance barking, minor suspicion of strangers, and minor crating issues.

 

4 Week Board and Train $3600

If your dog does not have behavior modification needs and you want more advanced on and off leash obedience or more extensive public exposure training than the 3 week program offers, this is the program for you.

If your dog requires behavior modification for moderate to severe behavioral issues this program is for you. Your dog will not only learn basic obedience in this program, but more importantly a change of mindset. While your dog will be learning basic on and off leash obedience and household manners, they will also be focusing on impulse control and de-escalating over-arousal for a calmer mindset. This program will give you and your dog a blueprint for how life should look post training to continue to improve your dog’s behavior at home with you. This program gives you both the opportunity to change old patterns and communicate clearly going forward.

Your dog will learn:

  • an implied stay with obedience commands like: Sit, Down, Place

  • general leash manners, recall, and a structured heel

  • basic household manners like no: jumping, mouthing, getting on furniture without permission, counter surfing, etc.

  • mindset work like: impulse control, threshold control, regulating their excitement, how to be calm and still

  • public exposure training (as is appropriate and safe on a case by case basis for every dog)

  • how to hear “no” and de-escalate from problem behaviors accordingly

    *Moderate to severe behavior modification cases are eligible for this program such as: leash reactivity, dog aggression, resource guarding, anxiety, fearfulness, human aggression, overstimulation issues, and moderate crating issues. For severe cases Trainer may recommend extending training program longer than 4 weeks for an additional cost of $700 per week. Muzzle conditioning is required.

 

In-Home Private Lesson Package $625 (equipment not included)

This includes 4 sessions total

  • 1 - 90 minute evaluation/lesson

  • 1 - 90 minute lesson

  • 2 - 60 minute lessons

Private in-home lessons are perfect for the owner who wants to learn alongside their dog. This option is for the owner who wants to be hands on and dive into training their dog on their own with guidance and homework from a professional. We will work on teaching your dog foundational obedience and how to communicate with you using the prong collar and e-collar. We will focus on teaching commands like sit, down, come, place, and heel for a structured walk. We will also work on general manners in the household.

This program requires owners to train their dog(s) and complete homework tasks set by Trainer in between sessions. Your success in this program is directly related to how much time and effort you put into training between sessions. Most clients need anywhere between 6-10 lessons total to reach their goals with their dog, meaning this package is a jumping off point. Additional lessons can be added for $125 per hour.

Participation in this program is up to trainer’s discretion based on severity of your dog’s behavioral issues. Dogs who require more than mild behavior modification for leash reactivity, fearfulness, anxiety, overstimulation issues, excessive humping and resource guarding are not fits for this program and muzzle conditioning may be required. Dogs with human aggression are not eligible for this program.

No equipment is included in this package, you will be responsible for purchasing a Herm Sprenger prong collar and an E-Collar Technologies or Dogtra e-collar. Sessions must be used within 90 days of package purchase.
